EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE! Barrow Veterinary Service is looking to fill the position of Customer Service Professional. This position requires between 36 and 40 hours per week. Veterinary experience is preferred but not required. Essential criteria include, but are not limited to: * Savvy with office equipment such as multi-line phones, computers, mobile phones, printers, and scanners * Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task * Professional conduct at all times * Ability to keep workspace and common areas of the hospital clean and organized * A level of equine experience sufficient to determine level of urgency in care/scheduling * Ability to manage inventory, purchase orders, customer requests, and labwork in a fast-paced environment * Maturity to handle sensitive administrative tasks, such as client information, billing & payments, and prescription requests * Ability to efficiently schedule a thriving two-doctor practice for both haul-in and ambulatory patients * Follow guidelines set forth by USDA, FDA, DEA, AVMA, and AAEP for patient care and safe practice standards * Background check and/or drug testing may be required * Applicant must either provide proof of US citizenship OR appropriate work visa
