Welcome to Barrow Veterinary Services
Established in 2004, Barrow Veterinary Service is a fully equipped, privately-owned equine practice. Most clients have a choice between using our ambulatory service or being seen at our beautiful 26-acre facility in Social Circle. Our ambulatory service encompasses Walton, Newton, Rockdale, & Morgan counties, plus additional areas on a case-by-case basis. Areas of excellence for BVS include but are not limited to:

We take all our own emergency call, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Barrow Veterinary Service's patients range from upper level performance horses of all disciplines to loving, retired companions. We maintain industry leading knowledge and equipment in order to serve you at the highest level.
Because we care, we are not a "mega-practice." Our doctors and staff are efficient and knowledgeable. We provide individualized care for each of our patients and value long-term client relationships. Because we only see one species - the horse - our focus never shifts. Our patients and customers receive respect, dignity, and the ability to participate in any and all decisions. We believe that equine veterinary care should reflect the horse-human bond at its best, whatever discipline or activity that may entail.
